    Hi I accidentally applied the Zune Music Pass 14 Day Free trial on my Xbox 360 not realizing that it will automatically be renewed to a full subscription. I just got a notice that it would automatically renew in a week. I'm having trouble deleting my subscription. I don't know how to log on to Zune to go to my account and cancel the subscription. Do I use my Xbox account and password? I'm really confused. Thanks

      Sign on to the Zune web site using the same email and password as your gamertag. Zune uses the same profiles as the Xbox Live gamertag, so it's the same account and password.

      I would say open up the files for your zune, then download music off of limewire (but most songs on limewire are illegal and have viruses so its your choice)and drag the music files into your zune files

      Type in like free music downloads on yahoo search engine and find some free music.
      click a dowload button then if a box comes up that says open or save, click save then put into one of your zune files/folders.

      It's pretty simple really.

After you're done paying everything will not work except for the 10 songs you used your credits on. It you want free music just search bit torrent, while it is illegal... It is free.

25. QUESTION:
    How to download free music to my zune?
    I just got a zune and have installed the software. My friend told me I can get songs from limewire.com. Before I could download any song, I had to install it, which I did. I have downloaded the songs, but how do I transfer it on to my zune?

      open the Zune software and go into settings (upper right corner) then make sure you are in the software setting and not the device or account settings. one of the tabs on the left should have something about auto or manual syncing. in this tab you can select a folder where the software will pick up music. you have to add a folder. then navigate to you limewire folder and then the saved folder. this is where all your downloaded limewire music is saved on your computers HDD. once this folder is mapped, it will start loading the songs into the ZUne software. once everything is in the software, you can select the songs, right click, sync with (your zunes name here) and it should start syncing.

    I found an iPod on the ground and wanted to put the music that is on it on my Zune. I found a program called iPod Access and got all the music I wanted to iTunes but cant figure out how to get it to the Zune program from there to get it to my zune for FREE. Please help!

      Since the Zune does not accept AAC (iPod music), you'll need to convert the music to MP3 so that the Zune will accept it. Once you do that, then you can import the music. And like the other person, please do the right thing and return it to it's lawful owner.

      You don't need to jailbreak anything. Download the Zune software, and it will automatically add your music (wether purchased from the marketplace or not) to your "collection" which then can be sync'd to your Zune HD. Just put it in your "My Music" folder, and it should automatically add it.

Avoid peer to peer networks like limewire and blubster because of all the viruses, adware and spyware, not to mention it's illegal to download copyrighted music from them.

      every week or so you will get an e-mail that has some free songs listed. usually it is like every other week or so you will get a free song (but you cant choose...it is just something to get you interested in their music so you buy other stuff from that artits. i have gotten about 5 or so free songs. and once in a while you will get some free videos. the only ones i have seen so far was some episodes of battlestar galactica and right now they have "kings" season one - episode one for free. but that ends on 3-31-09 i am pretty sure.

      "triple j: New Free Music" podcast, it's from an australian radio station, and it's free, it has a lot of alternative and indie, and hip hop and all sorts of stuff, from Australia and overseas.

      i'm not positive iof it's available through the zune website, i get it through iTunes, but if it's not on zune try going tsraight to the website then loading what you download into your zune library.

      i'm not 100% sure if it would be available outside australia though, copyright might be an issue, i know a lot of UK music podcasts won't work here.

      there are some which i know are available world wide, which are from last.fm, you can subscribe to any genre of music and get some free stuff, there's a lot of junk in there, but also some goo dstuff, it tends to be from more obscure bands trying to get some exposure by giving out free stuff. On the website, genres are called "tags", search through and find some you like. Again i don't think you can go straight through Zune, but you could dowownload via RSS and then import into your zune library. there's a free music podcast link half way down the right hand side of each "tag" page.

      the site is a little quirky to navigate from a tag page (e.g. http://www.last.fm/music/+tag/indie) you need to go to the "see all indie" (or whateveer genre) gift-tag-like icon near the top in the grey box.

      you may have to subscribe to last.fm to get in, but that's no risk, you have to pay for a delux subscription to listcn to the streaming radio, but with a free subscription you can get the podcasts.

      You can also download stuff through iTunes and then import it into a library for another player, that's what i used to do when i had a little sansa mp3 player.

      You don't have to pay a month. That is only for the Zune Pass. You can buy albums or individula songs from the Marketplace. You can get non copyrighted songs from p2p sources legally. However don't expect to get popular artists such as Chris Brown or 30 Seconds to Mars for free and have it be legal.

      There is no legal way to get free music for your Zune other than the occasional freebees that Zune Marketplace offers.

      I hate to tell you this but most if not all videos posted online are in a format not supported by Zune so you will need to convert them. You can try finding high quality music videos on Veoh. But you will need to convert them to use on Zune.
